Challenge

The agency Brain8 helps owner-managed furniture stores move from printed brochures to email marketing. With “MöbelMail”, personalized QR codes and links in print advertising lead to landing pages that trigger automated email sequences.

This requires more than a website: content and landing pages must be maintained without developers, large print files must be exchanged securely between furniture stores, print shops and the agency, and address lists must be reliably personalized for every mailing.

Solution

Since 2010, we have been developing and operating Brain8’s platform, today based on Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL in a containerized environment.

A custom content management system handles the blog and tutorials, campaign landing pages, legal texts and redirects.

In the client portal, furniture stores and service partners exchange files per project. Brain8 approves every file, access is granted via one-time code, and expired data is deleted automatically.

Uploaded Excel and CSV address lists automatically receive an individual, encrypted landing page link for each recipient – either for print or for import into the KlickTipp email automation.

Result

Brain8 now manages its website, file exchange and campaign preparation from a single platform – from the print template to the personalized email sequence.

Since 2016 alone, we have implemented more than 500 changes.
